A Corpus Christi Police Officer on patrol observed a man walking in the area of the Wood River subdivision and after contacting him, he discovered he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for burglary.

The man, Thomas Hernandez (10/10/1997), was arrested and transported to the City Detention Center.

The warrant stems from a burglary from a vehicle that occurred on November 9, 2014 in the Wal-Mart parking lot at 3829 Highway 77.  The warrants were issued on December 17, 2014 by Justice of the Peace Henry Santana Precinct 1 Place 2.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer on patrol observed a car traveling west on the freeway to be exceeding the posted 60 MPH speed limit.

When the officer stopped the 2015 Ford Mustang, he made contact with the driver, Thomas Hill ((10/06/1961), and after an investigation determined he was intoxicated.  He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and his vehicle was impounded.

A 22 year old female victim called Corpus Christi Police after her vehicle window was shot out by an ex-girlfriend.

The female told officers that she went to drop off property to her 24 year old ex-girlfriend at a home located in the 2300 block of John Street. The ex-girlfriend got mad and became confrontational toward the victim and as she was attempting to drive off, the ex-girlfriend fired a gun at the victims’ car. The driver’s side window was shattered out of the victims’ Ford Taurus.

Officers attempted to contact the female suspect at her home, but could not locate her. Officers continue to investigate this case, and at this time, no arrests have been made.
