Location: 5100 Flynn Parkway
Offense: Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
P.C.  31.07      State Jail Felony
Case Number: 1503110037
A 67 year old man called Corpus Christi Police after his car was stolen while he was inside a business located at 5155 Flynn Parkway.

Officers were able to view camera surveillance of the business parking lot and they observed a white van backing into a space next to the handicap parking space the victims’ car was parked in.  The van then blocks the view of the camera but a few minutes later both vehicles leave the parking spaces. Officers believe that the suspects in the van were involved in the theft of the car.

The victims’ 2002 Chrysler Sebring was later used as the getaway car at a bank robbery of the Frost Bank located at 4101 Interstate 69.  The suspects then left the car abandoned with the engine running in the parking lot of the Home Depot located in the 13200 block of Leopard Street.  It was recovered by officers and returned to the owner after being processed for evidence.
