The Corpus Christi Police Department generated 258 reports for formal criminal complaints from midnight March 19 to 7:00 a.m. on March 20, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

 

 

“BRAVO” District

Offense: Aggravated Assault P

Case Number: 1503200034
A 31 year old male victim called Corpus Christi Police after he was assaulted by a man he picked up earlier in the evening.

The victim said he was stabbed and assaulted by a male subject he brought home with him. The victim was returning home from a party when he observed a male walking down the street. The male said he had nowhere to stay so the victim offered to take him to his home in the 9500 block of Snowfinch Street.

After they arrived at the victims’ home an argument began between the two and the suspect grabbed a vase and hit the victim on the head. The suspect then took out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest.

The victim was transported to Spohn Memorial by CCFD EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers are still investigating this and no suspects have been arrested.

A 16 year old driver was taken to the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center after he led Corpus Christi Police on a vehicle pursuit.

Officers were responding to a report of a man in a vehicle pointing a gun at another vehicle as both drove on Gollihar Road near Prescott Street.  With a description of the suspect vehicle officers found the silver Ford Mustang on State Highway 358 traveling west near Greenwood Drive.

When officers attempted to stop the car it exited at Old Brownsville Road. It then traveled down the access road to West Point Road. After traveling about a mile down West Point Road the vehicle stopped and three juveniles and one adult were detained.

No weapon was found in the car.

The two other juvenile passengers and a 18 year old adult male were taken to their homes and released.

 

 

“DELTA” District

Offense: Driving While Intoxicated

Corpus Christi Police responded to a vehicle that had struck several pieces of property while driving down the 2800 block of Baldwin Boulevard.

Officers arrived and found the 26 year old male driver in the driver seat of his 2002 GMC Yukon attempting to leave the scene, however, he was unable to due to the extensive damage to his vehicle.

The crash investigation revealed that the SUV was traveling on Baldwin Boulevard when it left the roadway and struck a fire hydrant.  The SUV continued traveling and struck a street light pole on the other side of the street. The SUV continued to travel off the roadway and made struck the side of a building and a fence at Marcello`s Barber Shop. The SUV then reversed out from that property and continued turning onto Sabinas Street. There the SUV struck nine concrete pillars that were planted in the ground.  The SUV turned around went back down Sabinas Street to 2845 Baldwin Boulevard and struck a fence on the property there.

The driver was taken by CCFD EMS to be treated for minor injuries at Spohn Memorial Hospital.   Once he is cleared he faces charges of driving while intoxicated and he also has a warrant for his arrest for probation violation.
