Corpus Christi Police arrested a female driver for DWI after they found her passed out sitting in the driver’s seat of her vehicle at a red light in the 3200 block of South Port Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene after several motorist reported that a 2002 Ford Explorer was at the intersection of Port Avenue and the Crosstown Freeway not moving.
Officers arrived and found the vehicle in the middle of the street with the brake lights on and the engine running. Officers were able to reach inside and put the SUV in park and remove the keys.
After an investigation, Officers determined that the female driver, Jessica Reyes (08/07/1987), was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and her vehicle was impounded.

A female was arrested after she attempted to run out of the Home Depot Store, located at 132020 Leopard Street, without paying for merchandise.
Store employees chased the female, who was pushing a shopping cart with a power tool in it, outside of the store. The female attempted to load the tool into a waiting vehicle that had pulled up.
When the female was stopped by store employees, the vehicle sped away and the female, Vivian Trammell (06/04/1983) was arrested.
The equipment, valued at $499, was returned.
