70-year-old Clerk Uninjured During Robbery

Officers contacted the uninjured Stripes Convenience Store clerk, 70, who reported a masked gunman entered the store and ordered him to open the register.   The suspect grabbed the money, dropping loose coins as he fled east towards Marguerite Street.  Officers searched for the suspect, but he was not located. The suspect is described as White male, 5’3” to 5’5” feet tall, 130 to 140 lbs.  He was last seen wearing a ski mask, gray top, black pants, and black shoes.  Anyone having any information regarding this crime is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS or the Corpus Christi Police Department Homicide/Robbery Bureau.
