A 24-year-old man was stabbed Saturday morning after he was found on the access road of Interstate Highway 37 at North Omaha Drive.

A 37-year-old man was on his way to work when he saw a 24-year-old man in distress. The 37-year-old man stopped and discovered the 24-year-old man had been stabbed and needed medical attention. The 37-year-old man called for an ambulance and police.

The 24-year-old man was taken directly to the hospital for treatment. Corpus Christi Police searched for a man who wore a black t-shirt, black shorts and bare feet that was seen by witnesses to have run from the crime scene.
