Corpus Christi Police would like help from the public to locate a man who is wanted for a theft at the Sears last Friday evening.

A loss prevention employee received minor injuries after a confrontation with this man Friday. The loss prevention employee saw the man take $240 worth of cooking supplies and leave the store. The loss prevention employee stopped the man and demanded the merchandise be returned to the store. The man pushed the employee and scratched the employee’s chest which caused minor injuries.

The man then got into a 1998 gray Saturn 4 door car and left. Police obtained the license plate number for the vehicle and have video recording of the man. The man is described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, about 6 feet tall and about 170 pounds. The man has black hair and brown eyes and wore glasses, had a thin mustache, and wore a black t-shirt.
