Officers contacted the couple who reported they were inside the apartment when they heard loud banging and kicking on the front door just prior to somebody punching through the bedroom window. They told Officers two men climbed in and began assaulting the man. One of the assailants was armed with “brass knuckles” and the man was punched several times in the head and upper body. The woman was also hit when she tried to intervene and stop the assault.
Both the men fled out the front door. The woman told Officers one of the men was a man she dated during a break in her current relationship. The victims were unable to identify the second suspect who was described as a Hispanic male, 18 to 22 years of age, 6’ to 6’2” feet tall and weighing 300 to 320 lbs.
