The Corpus Christi Police Robbery/Homicide Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate two men responsible for a robbery on the 2500 block of Fig Street on Sunday night.
A 20-year-old man told police he tried to sell shoes to a man he met on an internet website. The prospective buyer was a passenger in a car, possibly a gray Chevy Impala. The prospective buyer took the shoes valued at about $300 dollars without paying the 20-year-old man and attempted to flee in the vehicle. The 20-year-old man was injured when the vehicle sped away.
The 20-year-old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance. There were two Hispanic men in the car and now investigators are searching for the identity and location of the two men who took the shoes by force.
