Corpus Christi Police Detectives are asking the public’s assistance in locating a nursing facility employee who stole and forged several checks from a 64-year-old nursing home resident.

Albert Linares (01/05/80) was observed on video surveillance as he cashed the forged checks at a local bank.  Detective O. Zepeda obtained a warrant for Linares for Forgery of a Financial Instrument. Linares’ bond is set at $30,000.

Anyone having any information on the whereabouts of Linares is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS or log onto the Crimes Stoppers website at www.888TIPS.com.  A cash reward will be paid out if Linares is arrested on the information received.

The Corpus Christi Police would like to thank the public for the help provided to locate and arrest Linares for this case. Linares was arrested on the 4600 block of Jose Drive at 11am on Friday, May 31. He was located based on a Crime Stoppers tip.
