The Corpus Christi Police are investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday morning at 4531 Ayers Street.

A 34-year-old man went to a business at 4531 Ayers Street at about 7:25am Saturday morning. A 28-year-old man discharged a firearm from inside the business. Police discovered the 34-year-old man outside the business, deceased.

The 28-year-old man directly called police and surrendered. The 28-year-old man was detained and was interviewed by detectives.

Corpus Christi Police Robbery/Homicide Detectives are investigating the homicide and attempting to gather all the evidence from this event.

UPDATE:
Juan Perez (3/22/1985) was arrested and charged with Murder, a First Degree Felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine. This is the 10th Criminal Homicide for 2013.
