Corpus Christi Police are searching for a man who robbed a store at 1324 South Staples Thursday morning. A 63-year-old woman told Police that a man came into the store, paid for candy, displayed a pistol and then took the money from the register once the drawer opened. The man then ran from the store south on Staples Street. No injuries were reported and the suspect is still at large.
Police are searching for a white male about 6 feet tall, about 180 pounds, with black hair and wore a white t-shirt, khaki pants and sun glasses. The suspect was armed with a pistol and is considered dangerous.
