Corpus Christi Traffic and Safety Division Investigators have impounded the vehicle suspected to be involved in Sunday morning’s hit and run accident.  After viewing the airing of the hit and run accident on local media channels, the owners of the black Jeep Liberty contacted investigators and are cooperating with the investigation.

Early this morning, Investigators impounded the Jeep Liberty from the 2200 block of Skycrest Drive.  The investigation is ongoing and will be conducted by the Traffic and Safety Division’s Hit and Run Investigators. 

The Police Department would like to thank local Media for promptly airing the hit and run accident and the community for calling in tips to Crime Stoppers.
