Corpus Christi Police arrested two people for theft after Officers discovered stolen property from auto burglaries in their vehicle on the 9100 block of South Padre Island Drive Friday morning. A Corpus Christi Police Officer stopped to assist a green 1996 Ford E-150 van which was stopped without the hazard lights flashing in traffic near the exit ramp for Flour Bluff Drive on the Oso Bridge. The Officer spoke to 25-year-old Brittany Snyder (8/26/1988) who was seated in the passenger seat. Snyder told the Officer the vehicle ran out of gas and the driver, 27-year-old Nathan Partney (10/20/1986), left to seek fuel and took the keys with him. The Officer chose to summon a wrecker to recover the vehicle because it was midnight and the van was at a high risk to be struck by vehicles on the freeway.
