The Corpus Christi Police Robbery/Homicide Detectives are investigating the 7th Homicide of 2014 at 4322 Kostoryz Thursday. Corpus Christi Police went to an apartment to conduct a welfare check of a 50-year-old woman at 10:00am at the request of the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office. Corpus Christi Police discovered the 50-year-old woman was deceased and had injuries to merit a homicide investigation.

Corpus Christi Police have detained a man and are exploring information and evidence to determine if that man is responsible for the injuries to the woman.
