The Corpus Christi Police Department has obtained a warrant for the arrest of 38-year-old Jonathan Michaud (8/16/1975) for Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child; a first degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine. Detectives from the Corpus Christi Police Department would like help from the public to locate Michaud. Detectives say Michaud was last seen in Rockport, Texas and believe Michaud is still in the area.

Michaud is described as a white male who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone who has any information to help Detectives locate Michaud should contact the nearest Police Department and should not approach or attempt to apprehend Michaud. Anyone who would like to keep their identity secret and provide information to help authorities apprehend Michaud should call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS (8477). UPDATE

On April 4, 2014 at approx 6:30pm CCPD officers in cooperation with the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force located the wanted suspect, Jonathan Michaud (8/16/1975), at the 11800 Block of S.P.I.D. Officers confronted Michaud and ordered him to surrender. Michaud shot himself and was then taken into custody. Machaud was transported to a local hospital where he died from a self inflicted gunshot wound.
