The Corpus Christi Police Department announced the results of the first day of the Click It or Ticket campaign.  Officers worked morning and afternoon shifts enforcing the state seat belt laws.

37 seat belt citations
2 child restraint citations
17 other citations for miscellaneous offenses including one on a cell phone

The Click It or Ticket campaign continues through the Memorial Day weekend.

Remember make sure everyone in your vehicle is secured by a safety belt no matter how far your trip may be.
