Man Accuses Group of People Stealing Wine and Candy from Store

Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives would like help from the public to identify and locate five people responsible for theft from a convenience store located at 9602 South Padre Island Drive on May 29, 2014. A 27-year-old man reported the theft to the Corpus Christi Police and provided a video of five people who came into the store and stole wine and candy bars.

The 27-year-old man described the suspects as one woman with blonde hair and four men with dark hair. The 27-year-old man told Officers one of the men wore black shorts with a blue panel on the sides, a maroon shirt with white lettering and black slip on sandals with black socks. The 27-year-old man told Officers a second male suspect wore a gray shirt, khaki shorts and a black and white cap worn backwards. The 27-year-old man said the third male suspect wore a black shirt with a pink CB on the front with khaki shorts and black tennis shoes. The 27-year-old man told Officers the fourth male suspect wore a black tank top shirt with a Batman logo, khaki shorts and black tennis shoes. A video of the man in the Batman shirt has been posted which recorded the man take a bottle of wine from the store display, conceal the bottle underneath his clothing, and then walk out of the store without paying for the merchandise.
