Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to 5400 S. Alameda in reference to a aggravated robbery. Upon arrival they made contact with a 21 year old male victim. The victim stated that he was approached by two male suspects. He stated the suspects asked him if he had any marijuana to sell. When he said no, the suspect the suspects produced a handgun and robbed the victim. They took a cell phone and a shotgun. The suspects fled the scene in a silver Audi. The victim told officers that he tracked his phone to a location at 5525 S. Alameda. Officers checked the area and located the suspect vehicle. The owner of the vehicle approached the officers and told them that he loaned his car to his friends and they were still in his apartment. Officers contacted both suspects (Undrea Burton DOB 7-13-1993 and Jmelle Jackson DOB 4-30-1994) and were given a consent to search the apartment. CCPD officers located property from the robbery. Both suspects were arrested and booked into the City Detention Center. Jmelle Jackson was also found to have 3 outstanding warrants, one from Harris County for theft and two from Victoria County for obstruction.

Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to 5900 SPID in reference an assault with injuries. Upon arrival officers made contact with a 49 year old male victim. The victim stated that he was attempting to jump start a car for his friends, who are also the suspects (35 year old male and a 37 year old female). The victim was unable to start the vehicle and told the suspects he would try to start their car in the morning. As the victim was walking back to his car, he was struck from behind with a pipe wrench. The male suspect demanded the victims car. The victim was able to escape in his vehicle. The victim stated that the suspects were staying in a room at the Red Roof Inn. Officers attempted but were unsuccessful in making contact with the suspects. The victim was transported to Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
