Corpus Christi Police Officers were patrolling the area of Tiger Ln and Kostoryz Rd. when they heard the loud sound of engines. They then saw a motorcycle and a dark passenger car traveling south on Kostoryz Rd. at a high rate of speed right next to each other. Both the motorcycle and the car were stopped at a business located in the 5600 block of Kostoryz Rd. The 1996 Suzuki motorcycle was driven by Tyler Garza (07/03/1992) and the black 2013 Chevrolet Malibu sedan was being operated by Jose Rodriguez (06/29/1990). Both males were arrested for racing on a highway, a class B misdemeanor and both vehicles were impounded.
