Corpus Christi Police responded to an armed robbery at the Sonic Drive In located in the 13900 block of Northwest Blvd. A 19 year old employee told officers he was in the back prepping food when he observed a male suspect outside point a handgun at another 16 year old female employee. He intervened and told the suspect that he would give him the money. The suspect pointed the handgun at him and both entered the business. The suspect took money from the cash register and the safe and then left toward the back of the restaurant. The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years old, 5’10” tall and about 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, gloves, black pants and a mask.
