Masked Man Removes Cash

Corpus Christi Police Officers took a report for a burglary to a business located at 8001 Interstate 37 South, C.C. Freightliner Inc.  Suspects appeared to have made entry onto the property after cutting a hole in the back fence, then the suspects made entry into the shop by knocking out a back window.   The shop foreman told officers they locked up the shop on 08/08/14 around 11:10 p.m. and when they returned on 08/09/14 they found the window broken, the one cash registers on the counter in the shop had been broken into and cash removed.  A second registered was opened in the front of the business and rifled through but there was no cash inside.  The estimated damage to the property and value of items stolen was almost $1000.  Video images captured from the business show a male, 5’6” to 5’8” tall , heavy set, wearing a mask, gloves and a tan baseball cap.  Anyone who can identify the individual responsible, or has any additional information about this crime should call the Corpus Christi Police Property Crimes Detectives at 886-2840.
