Case Number: 1412140044
A 25 year old female was arrested for making a false report to police after she reported that she and her boyfriend had been car jacked while at a store in the 3200 block of Buddy Lawrence Drive.

The female told officers that a male suspect with a firearm approached them and then stole their white BMW while they were at the store.  Officers found the white BMW crashed near Interstate 37 and the Crosstown Freeway.

After an investigation it was determined that the boyfriend was alone in the BMW when he crashed his car.  He called the female and told her to come pick him up.  The female called another male who brought her to the scene of the crash and that is when the female decided to create a story about being car jacked.

Officers arrested Crystal Guerra (01/02/1989) for falsifying a report to police, a class B misdemeanor.

Her boyfriend, Israel Deleon (09/22/1981), was found to be intoxicated, and he was arrested for driving the 2000 BMW sedan and crashing it into the cement median on the Interstate 37 South on ramp to State Highway 286 South.  He was not injured in the crash, but he was charged with driving while intoxicated, a class A misdemeanor.
