Police Continue Narcotics Enforcement With Search Warrants

The Corpus Christi Police Narcotics & Vice Investigators served a search warrant at 1526 Kennedy Friday morning.  The warrant was a product of numerous complaints from the neighborhood residents about drug sales from that location.

Over 30 grams of crack cocaine, 17 grams of powdered cocaine, 20 grams of marijuana, and 30 grams of synthetic marijuana was recovered with an estimated street value of the drugs as $2600.00.  Investigators also seized a Jimenez Arms 9mm automatic pistol, scales, packaging, and other paraphernalia associated with drug distribution.  Over $3500 in U.S. currency, some of which was located in a hideaway safe styled as a book and some hidden in a baby bottle, was seized as well.

John Anthony DeLaCruz (9-24-86), was charged with second degree felony Possession of controlled substance and Possession of Marijuana and delivered to the city detention center.
