The Corpus Christi Police Department generated 218 reports for formal criminal complaints from midnight March 30 to 7:00 a.m. on March 31, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

 

“BRAVO” District

Case Number: 1503310012
A 43 year old male called Corpus Christi Police after he was robbed while working at a restaurant located at 5825 South Padre Island Drive.

The male victim said he was working as an exterminator when he was approached by another man in the parking lot.  The suspect said “give me all your money” and displayed a gun in his left hand.  The victim pulled out some cash and gave the suspect the money.

The suspect then fled on foot east from the restaurant parking lot.

Officers did not located the suspect, and continue to investigate this case.

A female tried to use a receipt she had from a previous purchase to make returns at a store and pocket the money.

Store employees called Corpus Christi Police after they observed a female enter the store located at 5041 South Padre Island Drive.  She selected items from around the store that were on a receipt.  She then went to the service center with the receipt that she previously had and made a return with the items that she had just picked out from the store.

The female received over $80 in cash for the returns and then attempted to leave the store.

Officers arrested Deborah Meyer (01/07/1980) for theft.

 

 

“CHARLIE” District

A male suspect attempted to hide in a restaurant bathroom after committing a theft from a nearby store.  Corpus Christi Police were called by store employees to the Wal Mart located at 4117 South Staples Street after a man was seen walking out with a computer.

When they arrived the employees directed the officers to a nearby Subway restaurant and told them that they had seen the suspect walk inside.

Officers went to the restaurant and employees there said the suspect had just went into the restroom.  Officers waited for the man to exit, and then took him into custody.

They recovered the computer that was still in the box that was taken from the Wal Mart store earlier.

Officers arrested Robert Davila (05/11/1994) for theft.

 

 

“DELTA” District

Offense: Aggravated Robbery
P.C.  29.03      First Degree Felony
Case Number: 1503300148
A 74 year old male victim called Corpus Christi after he was robbed while driving down the 2400 block of Sarita Street.

The victim told officers that while driving he came to a stop at a stop sign and he was approached by a white male suspect, in his twenties, on the passenger side window of his car. The suspect told the driver to give him all his money. The suspect then lifted up his shirt and displayed a gun tucked in his waistband and told him to hand over any money he had.

The victim pulled out some money he had in his shirt pocket and handed it over to him. The suspect took the money and ran off.

Officers did not located the suspect, and continue to investigate this case.
