The Corpus Christi Police Department generated 194 reports for formal criminal complaints from midnight April 20 to 7:00 a.m. on April 21, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

Location: 3900 Airline Road
Offense: Driving While Intoxicated

Corpus Christi Police responded to a crash after a car struck a fire hydrant and rolled over in the 3900 block of Airline Road.

Officers arrived and determined a 2007 Nissan Maxima was traveling at a high rate of speed east on Lipes Boulevard when the driver lost control of the car after turning south onto Airline Road.  The car left the road and struck a fire hydrant and rolled over onto its roof.

After an investigation, the drive, Jennifer Segars (09/17/1975), was determined to be intoxicated and she was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

She was treated at Spohn Shoreline Hospital for minor injuries before being taken to the City Detention Center.

Offense: Burglary

A 58 year old male victim called Corpus Christi Police after he returned to his home and found several firearms stolen from his home.

Officers arrived at the home, located in the 900 block of Yorktown Road, and found a back bedroom window open.

While inside the home, the suspects removed four rifles and two shotguns. The value of the weapons was estimated to be almost $3000.

The victim told officers he had only left his home for a couple of hours in the morning.

At this time, police are working with the victim to obtain serial numbers from the stolen firearms.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Offense: Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle

An 18 year old female called Corpus Christi Police after her truck was stolen while parked at an apartment complex.

The female victim told officers that she left her 2013 Chevrolet Silverado truck running and unlocked while it was parked in the 1000 block of Redmond Street.

A short time later she saw her vehicle leaving the parking lot.

On-Star contacted police and tracked the truck to Port Aransas.  Officers in Port Aransas found the truck parked at a convenience store located on State Highway 361 and arrested a 24 year old man.

The truck was returned to the victim.
