Detectives Obtain Directive To Apprehend On Robbery Suspect

Corpus Christi Police Detectives have obtained a directive to apprehend warrant on a 16 year old male juvenile that they believe is involved in several of the robberies that occurred during the month of April.

Detectives took the juvenile into custody on Friday, May1  on unrelated charges of resisting apprehension, when they
attempted to  detain him after he was reported as a runaway.

During the course  of the investigation, detectives were able to connect the juvenile male to several other robberies throughout the city last month.

Detectives believe this juvenile male is a big reason for the spike in robberies seen over the pass several weeks.

Detectives do expect to make apprehensions of more juveniles in the coming weeks because they believe he had multiple accomplishes.

The juvenile remains in the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center under a directive to apprehend for robbery.
