A disturbance between a man and his girlfriend led Corpus Christi Police to arrest the man for driving while intoxicated.
The male and the 38 year old female were in a vehicle traveling down Interstate 69 when they pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant and the female got out. The male drove off, leaving the female walking.
He then returned a short time later and the two got involved in another disturbance. This time a witness called the police and when they arrived they found the man driving his 2013 GMC truck around the parking lot trying to talk to the female.
When the Officers went to investigate, they determined that the driver, Arnold Adame Jr. (11/06/1978) was intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and his truck was impounded.

Corpus Christi Police responded to Bay Area Hospital after a 35 year old man walked into the emergency room after being hit in the head with a hammer.
The victim told Officers that while he was inside his apartment, located in the 900 block of McDonald Street, he and another man, that he knows, got into an argument over a bicycle. The man left the apartment, only to return a short time later but the victim refused to let him in.
The man shattered a window with a hammer and kicked the front door in. Once inside the man hit the victim with the hammer on the left side of his head. The 34 year old man then fled the scene.
The victim was given a ride to the hospital by a neighbor. He was able to provide Officers with the man’s name, however, he was not located.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer on patrol, in the 3600 block of Leopard Street, observed a male and female arguing in the parking lot of a restaurant near the roadway.
As the Officer passed by he saw the man grab the female by the arm. He then saw the man strike the female on the left side of her face with his hand. The Officer immediately pulled into the parking lot and took the man into custody for assault.
The 20 year old female told the Officer that she and the man were in a dating relationship. She was not seriously injured, and refused medical treatment.
The man, Paul Torres (04/18/1983), was arrested for assault.

Corpus Christi Police have charged Michael Bielke (02/26/1957) with aggravated assault after he shot his younger brother in the chest following an ongoing argument about some missing property.
Just before 10:30 pm Corpus Christi Police responded to a call for a shooting in the backyard of a home located in the 800 block of Ohio Street.
When Officers arrived they found a 55 year old male victim with a single gunshot wound to his chest. They also found the victims 58 year old brother in the backyard. The investigation revealed that the older brother shot the younger brother with a handgun. The weapon used was recovered in the backyard by Officers.
The victim was transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital by CCFD EMS. When he arrived at the hospital he was being combative with hospital staff and Officers. At this time his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
The older brother was taken into custody for aggravated assault.
At the time of the shooting another brother of the victim and suspect was also in the backyard. He was not injured.
