A 38 year old female called Corpus Christi Police after her suburban was destroyed by fire.
When Officers arrived they found two clear plastic bottles on the ground near the vehicle that were slightly melted, and had a substance inside. The rear passenger side glass was on the suburban. Damage to the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban was estimated to be $2,000.
The home owner was able to show Officers video surveillance from a camera he has mounted on his property. It shows a male suspect, who appears to be17 to 25 years of age, wearing a blue shirt, khaki or white shorts and a baseball hat, running from the scene shortly after the fire is started.
No suspects have been arrested in this case and Officers are working with the homeowner to retrieve the video evidence.

Corpus Christi Police were called after a 26 year old man showed up at Spohn Memorial Hospital with a stab wound to his stomach.
The man as brought to the hospital by his girlfriend and his father. He refused to cooperate with Officers during their investigation however, his girlfriend told Officers that he was stabbed outside a home in the 3100 block of Magnolia Street by the brother of a woman that he has a child with.
Officers responded to the home, and found a crime scene but very little other evidence.
The victim was treated at Spohn Memorial Hospital for injuries not believed to be life threatening.
At this time, no suspects have been arrested

Corpus Christi Police arrested a man after he robbed the Stripes Store located at 1601 Agnes Street.
The store clerk told Officers that a male suspect had come into the store and held a folding box cutter knife up to him and took cash that the clerk was holding in his hand. The suspect then fled on foot.
Other Officers responding to the call located the male suspect, who had removed his shirt, walking down the sidewalk in the 1200 block of Agnes Street.
Officers arrested the suspect, Carlos Gonzales (07/10/1977), for aggravated robbery. The box cuter he used as a weapon was also found in his pants pockets.

The owner of a trucking business called Corpus Christi police after he discovered a truck tractor had been stolen from his business located at 1929 North Padre Island Drive.
The owner told Officers that a black in color, 1999 Peterbilt truck tractor was in the parking lot on the north end of his business when it was taken.
Officers are still looking for this truck tractor and no suspects have been arrested.

Offense: Driving While Intoxicated

Corpus Christi Police were called after an intoxicated driver struck several cars and part of a building while traveling along the 15200 block of Windward Drive.
Officers arrived at the Holiday Inn, located at 15202 Windward Drive, and were told that the female driver of a black Ford Mustang had struck two vehicles in the parking lot of their business as well as a building canopy while she was pulling into the property.
Officers were also told that prior to pulling into the parking lot of the hotel, the driver had been involved in a hit and run with a golf cart at Whitecap Boulevard and Park Road 22.
Officers observed that the females car had extensive damage to the drivers side, two flat tires and the rear bumper was hanging off.
After an investigation it was determined that the driver, Diana Hall (07/23/1952), was intoxicated. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated
There was only minor damage to the two parked cars that were struck by the female. Hotel staff estimated that there was nearly $1000 in damage done to the canopy stanchion that was also struck by the female. There were no reported injuries to the passenger on the gold cart that was hit by the female.
