A 32 year old son called Corpus Christi Police after his 62 year old father threatened him with a knife.
Officers arrived at the home, located in the 2700 block of Morrow Drive, and found the father was very intoxicated. The son told Officers that his father had pulled a large hunting knife on him and held it to his chest and told him if he didn`t get out he was going to kill him.
The 65 year old female stepped between her husband and son and she was able to intervene.
Officers arrested the father, James Walker Hoeber (08/16/1952), for aggravated assault.
No one in the home was injured during the disturbance.

A Corpus Christi Police Officer on patrol saw a truck traveling the wrong direction about to enter the Harbor Bridge.
The Officer observed a 2014 Dodge truck traveling north on the exit ramp of State Highway 181 that led onto the Harbor Bridge. This would have put the truck traveling the wrong direction against traffic.
The Officer was able to shine the spot light of his patrol car at the truck and just before entering the bridge, the driver, turned left and jumped over the grassy median and onto Surfside Boulevard. The Officer was able to catch up to the truck and contact the driver.
After an investigation, it was determined that the driver, Michael Clark-Guillen (11/16/1992), was intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and his truck was impounded.

A victim of a theft in Robstown called Corpus Christi Police after he spotted his stolen equipment being towed down the highway on the bed of a flatbed trailer.
The man saw his stolen Broce street sweeper on the trailer as it traveled down State Highway 44 near the International Airport and then he saw the driver pull over in the 100 block of Heinsohn Road.
Officers arrived and contacted, the driver of the truck, Edwardo Aguirre (10/09/1962), and he said that someone paid him to take the equipment to a business on Agnes Street.
When Officers searched the truck, they found 45 gram of methamphetamines in the vehicle.
The driver was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, both felony crimes.
The equipment was returned to its owner.
