The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 930 calls for service and generated 216 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. August 11 to 7:00 a.m. on August 12, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

Case Number: 1508110043
A bank employee called Corpus Christi Police after he found someone had spray painted the camera window of the ATM.

Officers arrived at the Texas Champion Bank, located at 1919 Rodd Field Road, and found a service technician already repairing the machine.

The bank employee told Officers that he was checking the ATM when he noticed the camera window was spray painted.

He estimated that it would cost approximately $500 for the repair of the camera window and for the repainting of the machine.

At this time no suspects have been identified and Officers continue to investigate this crime.

A group of three young men were robbed while they walked through H J Williams Park by three suspects, one of which had a handgun.

Officers arrived and were told by the victims that two males had stolen money and a ring out of their pockets while another male pointed a pistol at them.

Other Officers responding to the scene found the three suspects walking in the area of Nueces Street and Van Loan Street, and all three were taken into custody.

The three suspects Anthony Mitchell (04/27/1993), Tyrone Williams (03/11/1991), and Laclyde Ramsey (04/14/1994) were all arrested for aggravated robbery. Anthony Mitchell was additionally charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon when officers found a .380 caliber handgun in his possession.   They believe the same weapon was used in the robbery.

None of the victims were injured.

A 23 year old male victim was stabbed six times by a man who also stole his Jordan shoes and took prescription medication from him.

Officers arrived at the Corban Townhomes, located at 1455 Corban Street, and were told by the victim that he was with his girlfriend’s cousin when the suspect accused the victim of disrespecting him. The victim said the suspect hit him several times in the face, and then broke a beer bottle over his head.  He then used the broke glass to stab the victim six times in the upper chest.

The victim said after he was injured, the suspect took his black, white and red colored Jordan shoes valued at $150 and a prescription bottle of Alprazolam.

The victim was transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital by CCFD EMS to be treated for injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

During the investigation Officers were able to obtain the suspects name, however, he was not located.

A 37 year old man called Corpus Christi Police after his ex-girlfriend rammed his vehicle several times and then tried to run over him when he got out to inspect the damage.

Officers arrived in the 300 block of McBride Lane and found the suspects and the victims vehicles  pulled over on the side of the road.

The man told Officers he was driving his 2012 Hyundai Sonata sedan on Leopard Street near McBride Lane when his ex-girlfriend used her 2005 Lincoln Towncar to run him off the road. He said she crashed into the driver’s side of his vehicle. He then turned onto McBride Lane and called the police. The female followed him and again crashed into his car, this time on the passenger side.

He stopped and got out to look at the damage to his car and the female tried to hit him with her vehicle while he was standing near the side of the road.  The man  jumped onto the curb behind his vehicle so he would not get hit and was not injured.

Officers arrested the female, Andrea Rodriguez (11/09/1981), who was still at the location yelling at the man.  She has been charged with  aggravated assault.
