The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 1030 calls for service and generated 187 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. August 26 to 7:00 a.m. on August 27, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

A vehicle stopped at a red light got the attention of a Corpus Christi Police Officer after the light cycled to green and the car did not move.

The Officer approached the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and saw that the driver was asleep at the wheel and the car was still in drive.

The Officer knocked on the window several times before the man woke up.

After an investigation, the Officer determined that the driver, Juan Daniel Ramos (07/07/1984), was intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, a felony, and his vehicle was impounded.

A 22 year old man called Corpus Christi Police after he arrived home and found the front door of his home had been kicked in.

The victim told Officers that once the suspects made it inside the home, located in the 2400 block of Hatch Street, they removed over $3,500 worth of electronics and personal property.

At this time, Officers continue to investigate this crime and no suspects have been arrested.

A man walked out of Bay Area Hospital, located at 7101 South Padre Island Drive, and found all four tires off his vehicle were missing.

The victim called Corpus Christi Police to report that the racing tires were missing and his 2011 Chevrolet Camaro was left up on cement blocks in the parking lot.

The victim is still trying to determine how much it will cost to replace the tires.

Officers are investigating to see if video cameras in the hospital parking lot may have caught images of this crime.
