Corpus Christi Police responded to an audible alarm at the Jalisco Meat Market, located in the 2700 block of South Staples Street.
When Officers arrived they observed a piece of plywood which had been pulled off a broken window to a neighboring building. The Officers knew that the plywood had been used to secure a previously broken window to a business next to the meat market.
In that burglary on September 2nd, the suspects had gained entry through the same vacant business and cut through a wall in order to gain entry to the Jalisco Meat Market.
This morning the suspects made entry again through the vacant building next door. This time when they made entry into the meat market, the alarm sounded and suspects fled the scene without taking anything.
Officers are still looking for the suspects of the first burglary on and the suspects from this morning’s break in.

A 53 year old man called Corpus Christi Police after he was stabbed by a suspect who attempted to rob him as he was walking near Interstate 37 and Navigation Boulevard.
Officers found the man at a convenience store and noticed that he had a severe cut on his right arm and was covering it with a towel. He told Officers that he was approached by the suspect who demand his money. When he refused, the suspect produced a knife and cut the victim on his upper right forearm.
CCFD EMS transported the victim to Spohn Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The victim was not able to provide Officers with any type of suspect description.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a crash in the parking lot of the Hunan Express, located in the 5900 block of Williams Drive, and found the driver of the vehicle involved trying to flee the scene in another car.
The 2010 Chevrolet Silverado truck the male suspect was driving was travelling west on Williams Drive when he lost control while making a turn and struck a bus bench and a restaurant sign in the parking lot.
The driver exited his truck and called a female to pick him up. Officers located that vehicle that the driver was a passenger in, driving down Holly Road near Airline road.
After an investigation it was determined that the driver of the crashed truck, Ian Hinojosa (10/30/1981), was intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
The 24 year old female who picked up the suspect was released.
It was estimated that the damage done to the bus bench and pole in the restaurant parking lot was nearly $1200.
