The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 910 calls for service and generated 227 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. September 29 to 7:00 a.m. on September 30, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

The manager of a business called Corpus Christi Police after a Pepsi machine located on the property was broken into and the money inside was stolen.

Officers found metal shavings on the ground around the machine and upon further investigation they determined the suspects had drilled out the lock plate on the machine and removed the coin box from inside.

It is unknown how much money was stolen from the machine.

It is estimated the suspects did nearly $300 in damage to the Pepsi machine trying to get the coin box out.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a large fight inside a night club located in the 5800 block of Everhart Road.

When Officers arrived, they detained a car full of individuals attempting to leave in a 2015 Cadillac Escalade.

After an investigation, Officers determined that four females, three of them employees at the club, and another female customer were involved in a disturbance. The disturbance was due to an accusation by a male customer and the female customer he was with, that one of the female employees had stolen money from them.

During the disturbance, the female customer, Amy Rae Ponce Gongora (10/05/1995) and the male, Noe Recio (06/17/1978) threw glass bottles at the female employees, striking one of them in the arm. No one was seriously injured during the fight.

The male and the female were attempting to leave in the Cadillac Escalade with another couple when they were stopped by Officers. The other two individuals in the Cadillac, Erin Gray (12/20/1995) and Robert Recio Jr. (09/10/1980) were detained by Officers.

Amy Gongora and Noe Recio were both arrested for aggravated assault due to assaulting the employees with a glass bottles.

Erin Gray, a female in the Cadillac, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after those items were found inside her purse.

Robert Recio, the male in the Cadillac, was arrested for possession of marijuana after the substance was found near the seat he was sitting in.

Corpus Christi Police responded to a fight between a father and his son at a home located in the 6900 block of Warlow Drive.

When Officers arrived they were told by the 54 year old man, that he and his son got into a verbal argument over chores not done at the home by the son.

The verbal argument turned physical when the son pushed his father to the ground and then got on top of him and started hitting him.

At one point the son was choking his father, forcing his father to bite the son in the face to get him to let go.

Officers arrested the son, Daniel Maldonado (10/21/1990), for assault.

Neither the son nor the father was seriously inured.
