Patrol Report 11/03/2015

The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 961 calls for service and generated 225 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. November 2 to 7:00 a.m. on November 3, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

Location: 2200 Airline Road
Offense: Aggravated Robbery
P.C. 29.03     First Degree Felony
Case Number: 1511020089
Two males and a female walked into the Sun Loans, located at 2222 Airline Road, wearing masks and hoodies and armed with a gun.

The three suspects forced all the employees and two customers in the business to the ground.  One of the male suspects pulled out a handgun and the three proceeded behind the desk area of the business.  One of the workers then attempted to call police from a desk phone, but the male armed with the gun forced her to drop it. Another female employee was thrown to the ground by one of the male suspects when she did not get down.

The suspects fled before taking anything from the business. They were last seen running towards the Saw Grass Apartments.

Officers believe they know the three suspects involved, however, none of them have been located.

A 55 year old mother called Corpus Christi Police after her son grabbed a knife and threatened to kill her.

When Officers arrived they found her son in the garage. The mother told Officers that her son had been drinking today and he grabbed a kitchen knife and stated he was going to kill the family dog and anything that got in his way. He waved the knife at her, so she took her two grand kids out of the home.

The 31 year old sister of the man told Officers that she saw her brother get the knife and stab the kitchen walls inside the home.

Officers arrested the man, Christopher Trejo (12/17/1980), for aggravated assault.

No one in the home was injured.

Offense: Deadly Conduct

Case Number: 1511030010
A 60 year old female called Corpus Christi Police after she heard shots being fired outside her home, located in the 7700 block of Lake Baykal Drive.

When Officers arrived they found a bullet had entered her home through a small window near the front door. The female told Officers that she heard as many as seven shots being fired.

The female was home with a small child at the time the shots were fired. No one was injured.

Officers are still investigating this case, and at this time, no suspects have been identified.

Location: 4200 Townsend Street
Offense: Death Investigation

Case Number: 1511030011
Corpus Christi Police were called to a home, located in the 4200 block of Townsend Street, after the family of a three week old baby found the child not breathing.

Officers arrived at the home and found family members performing CPR on the little boy. He was transported by CCFD EMS to Driscoll Children’s Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

Detectives responded to the home and believe that the 19 year old male and 20 year old female, parents of the child, were both sleeping with him and another young child in a bed together.

Detectives and Child Protective Services are investigating this case.
