The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 1008 calls for service and generated 203 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. November 4 to 7:00 a.m. on November 5, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

A 47 year old man called Corpus Christi Police after he was stabbed in the leg and robbed of his wallet in the 1400 block of Paige Place.

Officers arrived and found the victim had a stab wound on the right upper thigh. He told Officers that two males approached him and demanded his wallet and then stabbed him. The victim was transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital by CCFD EMS to be treated.

The victim described the suspects as being two Hispanic males wearing black shirts, between 25 and 30 years old.

At this time, the suspects have not been identified.

An employee with the Calallen ISD called Corpus Christi Police after he found a maintenance building on school grounds had been broken into.

The employee told Officers that numerous pieces of yard equipment including a Kubota tractor had been stolen. There were no signs of forced entry into the building.

The employee estimated that between $35,000 and $40,000 worth of equipment was stolen.

At this time no suspects have been identified.

A 48 year old female called Corpus Christi Police after she had her purse stolen from her by a man riding by on a bicycle.

Officers arrived at the HEB Store, located at South Staples Street and South Padre Island Drive and were told by the female that she got off the RTA bus and was walking through the parking lot to the store. She said that a man rode up behind her on a bicycle and yelled “thanks for the purse” as he snatched it from her shoulder.

The white male suspect had long blond hair and was last seen wearing jeans and a black jacket. He was last seen riding west on Williams Drive.

Officers did not locate the suspect on the bicycle.

The female was not injured.
