The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 926 calls for service and generated 178 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. December 3 to 7:00 a.m. on December 4, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

Case Number: 1512030140
A security guard at a condominium in the 14300 block of South Padre Island Drive called Corpus Christi Police after a man he was trying to get to leave the property attacked him.

Officers arrived and the uniformed guard said that he was trying to calm a man who was yelling and screaming in the parking lot. When the security guard asked the man to leave the area the man threw him to the ground and put him in a head lock.

Before Officers arrived, the suspect left in a 2007 Chevrolet truck.  Other Officers were able to catch up to him on Waldron Road and the suspect, Christopher Williams (03/03/1984), was arrested for assault.

The security guard was not seriously injured.

Case Number: 1512030105
The manager of a self-storage business, located in the 3300 block of Holly Road, called Corpus Christi Police after he found five units on his property that had security locks broken off the sliding doors.

The manager was in the process of notifying the renters of the storage units to verify if there was anything stolen from inside.

Officers continue to investigate this case and at this time no suspects have been identified.

Case Number: 1512030139
A man wanted on four arrest warrants after assaulting a Corpus Christi Police Officer was located at a home in the 1000 block of Azalea Drive.

Gilbert Trevino (12/16/1993), who was wanted for assault on an officer, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, evading arrest and resisting arrest, after he drug an Officer with his car on November 29 was found in the home and taken into custody without incident.

The warrants were issued on December 2 and all carry a bond amount of $25,000.

Offense: Driving While Intoxicated

A female driver was arrested by Corpus Christi Police for driving while intoxicated after she drove her car into a cement pillar under the freeway.

Officers arrived in the 4000 South Padre Island Drive and determined that the driver was traveling west along the access road when she lost control of her vehicle.  The 2010 KIA Soul left the roadway and struck a cement pillar under the turnaround at Weber Road.

No one was injured, but after an investigation, the driver, was determined to be intoxicated.  The driver, Casandra Gonzales (01/16/1993) was arrested and her car was impounded.
