Patrol Report 12/16/2015

The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to 919 calls for service and generated 205 reports for formal criminal complaints from 7:00 a.m. December 15 to 7:00 a.m. on December 16, 2015. These are samples of the criminal complaints filed by the Corpus Christi Police for that time period.

An employee of a business, located at 8149 South Padre Island Drive, called Corpus Christi Police after the store was robbed at gunpoint by two masked suspects.

Officers were told that a Hispanic male walked in and pointed a handgun at the store clerk and demanded money. He was described as being about 30 years old with tattoos all over his neck and one on his eye. A second male suspect then walked in and went around the counter and began grabbing the money from the register. The second male also had tattoos on his neck but he male did not have a weapon.

Both suspects left the store and were last seen walking toward and apartment complex across the street.

At this time the suspects have not been identified and no arrest have been made.

An employee of a business, located at 6410 Weber Road, called Corpus Christi Police after the store was robbed by a suspect armed with a knife.

Officers were told that a Hispanic male with facial hair wearing a blue long sleeve shirt walked into the store and up to the counter and demanded money. The suspect was holding an open pocket knife and using his shirt to try and cover his face.

Camera surveillance images of the suspect were obtained from the store security system. One of the images show the suspect entering the store, prior to covering his face, and the second image shows the suspect at the counter of the store with his shirt pulled up.

A couple called Corpus Christi Police after three suspects kicked in the front door of their apartment and forced their way inside and into an upstairs bedroom where they were sleeping

One of the suspects, who was armed with a gun, was wearing a dark colored hoodie and his face was covered by a dark bandana. He asked the couple “where is the money” and threatened to shoot the male who lived in the apartment several times.

The second Hispanic male suspect was also wearing a dark hoodie. The couple watched as he searched around their apartment bedroom looking for money.

The third suspect stayed downstairs the whole time searching the living room area and kitchen.

The 28 year old male victim was forced downstairs and his hands were zipped tied together and he was left in a chair.  He was injured.

Before leaving the apartment, one of the suspects told the others, that this was not the guy they were looking for. The suspects did take the victims cell before leaving.

At this time none of the suspects have been identified and no arrest have been made.
