An employee of a business called Corpus Christi Police after a man walked in armed with a shotgun and robbed the store located at 6302 Saratoga Boulevard.
The store clerk told Officers that a man wearing a black mask, long sleeve shirt, pants and grey loafers, came into the store and demanded money from the cash register and her cell phone. The suspect who was armed with a shotgun handed the clerk a back pack to put the property in. The suspect then ran out of the store towards the McDonalds.
Officers are attempting to work with store management to download the security camera surveillance of this crime. At this time no suspects have been identified.

Corpus Christi Police arrested the neighbor of a man after he broke into his home and stole three guns from inside while the man out of town for Christmas.
The 33 year old victim called Officers after he arrived at his home, located in the 4100 block of Callicoate Road, and found a side window open. Once the homeowner looked inside, he noticed three guns, two pellet guns and a .12 gauge shotgun were all missing.
He told Officers that he thought that a back neighbor of his may be responsible for the burglary. While Offices were investigating this call, they received a report that a man was walking around the 2500 block of Morning Star Lane, asking people if they wanted to buy a shotgun. When they went to investigate, they found it was the neighbor. When they took him back to his home on Callicoate Road they found the stolen property inside.
Officers arrested the neighbor, Keaton Karnei (03/07/1983), for burglary.

A man was arrested by Corpus Christi Police after he crashed his truck into a light pole in the parking lot of a restaurant located in the 4600 block of Everhart Road.
Officers parked nearby, heard the crash and they went to investigate. They determined that the driver of a 2001 Ford F150 truck was traveling south on Everhart Road when the driver fell asleep, and struck the curb causing him to lose control of his vehicle and strike a light pole in the parking lot. Several wires were down across Everhart Road and AEP responded.
After an investigation, the driver, Orrin Ozuna (08/20/1986), was determined to be intoxicated and he was taken into custody. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor and his truck was impounded.
