At about 0800 hours this morning, investigators from the Corpus Christi Police Department Narcotics Vice Investigations Division served a search and arrest warrant at 4500 Nicholson. This warrant was the result of a several month-long investigation into drug dealing from that location.
During the search, investigators recovered approximately 68 grams of methamphetamine, 4.9 grams of powdered cocaine, and just under an ounce of hydroponic marijuana, scales and a drug ledger. Also recovered were two fully loaded pistols and an AK-47 style rifle. Investigators seized a Chevrolet Tahoe and a quantity of jewelry believed to have been purchased with income from the sale of drugs by the suspects.
Arrested were Reynaldo Chavira (6-27-86) and Roxanna Chavira (5-17-87). Both were charged with First Degree Felony Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance PG1 and possession of marijuana and transported to the City Detention Center. The suspects are facing possible enhancement of the charges as the residence is just down the street from Mike Zepeda Park.
