Antwine Charles Sr. is originally from Houston Texas and served in the United States Navy for 24 years as Hospital Corpsman. While serving in the Navy Antwine was the Senior Instructor at the San Antonio Medical Academy under Orthopedics and retired while serving at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi.

In 2014 Antwine began his career with the Corpus Christi Nueces County Public Health District as a healthcare immunization technician as well as becoming a Police Chaplain with the Corpus Christi Police Department. In 2016 he was promoted to Public Health Administrator then applied for and became the 911 Program manager for the Corpus Christi Police Department MetroCom.

Antwine has earned a Master of Science Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Bachelor of Science Health Services, Associates of Arts Health Technology, and Associates of Arts Vocational Education.
