Due to the expected rainfall, please watch out for flooding. We want our community to be safe.

Here are some helpful suggestions for the inclement weather:

If possible, please stay home during the heavy rain.

If you must travel, drive slower than usual so that you have time to react to other traffic on the roadway.

Turn on your headlights so that you are visible to other vehicles and pedestrians.

Be aware of possible flooding or moving water in low lying areas. It only takes 1-2 feet of rushing water to sweep away a vehicle.

Some roadways may be closed by barricades. Please do not drive around them as they are there for your safety.
