With the holiday season upon us the Corpus Christi Police Department would like to pass on some safety tips.

-Lock your cars, take your keys and never leave packages visible in your vehicle.
-Try to coordinate delivery of packages so that you are home.
-Write down serial numbers to valuable items in your house or of new gifts you receive.
-Be sure to lock up your bicycle when you travel around the city.
-When using a credit or debit card be sure to cover the pin pad when you enter your personal PIN number.
-Monitor your banking accounts for any fraudulent activity.
