Michelle Solis was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and began her career with the Corpus Christi Police Department as a Senior Staff Assistant in the Central Records Division in February 2008.

During her 17 years as a civilian employee, Michelle has served in several Divisions within the department. In June 2008, Michelle was hand-picked to be interviewed by the Internal Affairs Division where she transferred and worked as a Senior Staff Assistant for eight years. In March 2016, Michelle was asked to assist in the Criminal Investigations Division where they needed help to fill a Senior Staff Assistant position. Michelle was there for a short time before being transferred to temporarily assist the Assistant Chiefs and Police Commanders in the Administration Division.

In November 2016, Michelle applied for the Management Assistant position in the Administration Division, where she worked for six years. In January 2022, she applied to the Narcotics/Vice Division, where she currently serves as an Administrative Support III. Some of Michelle’s duties include handling grant paperwork, processing reports generated by officers and assisting with phone calls the Division receives.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family.
