On Friday, November 22, 2024, at 5:19pm, officers were dispatched to Highway 358 westbound at Waldron Road in reference to a major traffic crash involving a pedestrian.

Officers arrived and located a deceased male pedestrian in the roadway. The vehicle that struck the pedestrian remained on scene.

Investigators with the Traffic Unit arrived to conduct their investigation. Investigators determined that the vehicle was traveling westbound at the 10100 block of Highway 358 and the pedestrian intentionally walked into oncoming traffic and was struck by the vehicle.
