On Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 8:35pm, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of S. Port Ave. in reference to a robbery with a weapon.

Officers arrived and spoke to the victim and witnesses. They found that an unknown black male suspect entered the store and approached the clerk. The male pointed a handgun at the clerk, took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall and was wearing a black jacket, white cap and surgical mask.
