On Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 4:40am, officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were dispatched to a local hospital in reference to two individuals who walked into the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Preliminary investigation showed that a group of people were gathered on the 100 block of Shoreline Blvd. when for unknown reasons, individuals began shooting at each other.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division have been investigating this incident and obtained a warrant for Aggravated Assault-Mass Shooting, bond $750,000, for 21-year-old Sean Taylor, one of the individuals who was injured during the shootout. Detectives obtained the warrant due to the fact that they found that Taylor discharged a firearm towards a group of four or more people in an attempt to cause serious bodily injury or death.
Taylor was medically cleared from a local hospital and arrested for the outstanding warrant on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. He was transported and booked into the City Detention Center.
