OFFENDER OF THE WEEK

Nueces County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to locate 29-year-old Bradley Mac Ozee, who has an outstanding warrant out of Nueces County for Motion to Revoke – Aggravated Kidnapping (No Bond). Ozee also goes by the name Bradley Sampley.

Ozee is described as a 29-year-old male who stands 6’02”, weighs approximately 150 pounds, with green eyes. Ozee has facial tattoos under his eyes and a neck tattoo as seen in the attached picture.

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH ARMED ROBBERIES

Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2020
Location: 4400 block of Ayers
Offense: Warrant of Arrest

At approximately 1:22 pm on March 11, 2020 members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task force which consists of members of the Corpus Christi Police Department, with assistance from the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office; effected two arrests for outstanding felony warrants.

Officers received information that the first offender was at a fast food restaurant located on the 4400 block of Ayers. Officers located 19-year-old Jasmine Gonzales and she was taken into custody, without incident. Gonzales had three outstanding warrants for Aggravated Robbery, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Failure to Appear (Total bond amount of $310,000).

Officers also located 20-year-old Christian Rogers, who had an outstanding warrant for Motion to Revoke (No Bond). Rogers was additionally charged with Failure to ID – Fugitive from Justice and Possession of Controlled Substance – Penalty Group 2A.

Gonzales and Rogers were both transported to the Nueces County Jail for processing.

ARREST IN BRETT HOMICIDE

Date: Friday, March 06, 2020
Location: McAllen, Texas
Offense: Warrant of Arrest
Case Number: 2003040093

On Friday, March 06, 2020 members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task force, with assistance from Corpus Christi Police Department, McAllen Police Department, Texas DPS Troopers and McAllen Task Force arrested a local man for an outstanding warrant in connection with a recent Homicide which occurred on March 4, 2020 on the 4100 block of Brett.

Officers developed information that the offender, 19-year-old Detavion Falkquay, was staying at a residence located on the 1000 block of Pecan in McAllen, Texas. Officers located Falkquay and he was taken into custody, without incident.

Falkquay was booked on one warrant for Murder ($150,000 Bond). Falkquay was booked into the Hildalgo County Jail for processing and is currently awaiting extradition back to Nueces County.

CITY’S LATEST HOMICIDE

Date: Wednesday, March 04, 2020
Location: 4100 block of Brett Street
Incident: Murder
Case Number: 2003040093

Corpus Christi Police Officers responded to the 4100 block of Brett Street for an unconscious male. Upon arrival, officers located a 21-year-old male deceased inside of an apartment.

There was no observed forced entry and Investigators have identified that at least three suspects were observed fleeing from the scene. Investigators are still following up on leads and we can confirm that this was not a random act of violence. This is still an active and ongoing investigation and no other information is available for release at this time.

Investigators with the Corpus Christi Police Department are seeking help from the public regarding this homicide. CRIME STOPPERS CRIME OF THE WEEK

Detectives want your help to catch this suspect with this Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

An apartment complex located on the 5200 block of Kostoryz was burglarized on January 30, 2020 at approximately 7:00 AM.

The property manager advised that when he returned to the complex he discovered the garage door to have been pried open and a golf cart and tools to be missing from the garage. An estimated $3,000 in stolen items were taken from the garage.

The Investigators were able to obtain a copy of surveillance video which shows three suspects exiting the garage with stolen property.

Nueces County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to locate 22- year-old Blanca Esquivel who has an outstanding warrant out of Nueces County for Failure to Appear/Possession of Controlled Substance (No Bond), and Failure to Appear/Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair (No Bond).

Esquivel is described as a 22-year-old female who stands 5’03”, weighs approximately 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Offense: Warrant of Arrest
Case Number: 2002110139

At approximately 3:00 pm on March 02, 2020 members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task force, with assistance from the Corpus Christi Police Department Patrol Officers and Texas DPS Troopers; arrested a local man for an outstanding warrant in connection with an aggravated robbery which occurred on February 11, 2020 on the 400 block of Chaparral.

Officers received information that the offender was staying at a residence located on the 800 block of Erwin. Officers served a search warrant for the residence and upon entry located and positively identified 26-year-old Cedric Hall. Hall was taken into custody, without incident.

Hall was transported to the main station and was later transported to the City Detention Center for processing. Hall was booked on one warrant for Aggravated Robbery ($150,000 Bond).

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH PAWN SHOP ROBBERY

Location: 11000 block of Mayfield Rd
Offense: Warrant of Arrest, Evading Arrest, Criminal Mischief
Case Number: 2002260096

At approximately 4:00 pm on February 26, 2020 members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offender Fugitive Task force, with assistance from the Corpus Christi Police Department Gang, Directed Patrol and K9 Units; arrested a local man for two outstanding warrants in connection with Robberies of local pawn shops.

Officers received information that 20-year-old Steve Salazar was staying at a residence located on the 11000 block of Mayfield Rd. After positively identifying Salazar, officers approached the residence at which point Salazar was seen fleeing out of a rear window and jumping over a fence. After a short foot pursuit, Salazar was located and taken into custody, without further incident.

Salazar was transported to the City Detention Center for processing. Salazar was booked on two separate warrants; one for Aggravated Robbery ($50,000 Bond) and one for Robbery ($75,000 Bond). Salazar was additionally charged with Evading Arrest and Criminal Mischief.

Detectives want your help to catch these Robbery suspects with this Corpus Christi Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

At approximately 10:35 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, three suspects committed a robbery of a person on the 400 block of Chaparral. The suspects displayed a handgun and used a personal taser to shock the victim with it, while demanding the keys to his vehicle.

The first suspect was described as a black male, approximately 17-20 years of age, thin build, 5’10-6’00, wearing black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. The second suspect was described as a black male, approximately 17-20 years of age, thin build, 5’10-6’00, wearing a light color sweatshirt and sweatpants. The third suspect was described as a black male, approximately 17-25 years of age, thin build, 5’10-6’00, wearing gray sweatshirt and sweatpants.

Detectives obtained a copy of surveillance video. A few still images of the suspects are being released along with the video of the suspect vehicle, which is described as a late 90’s to early 2000’s, light color, passenger vehicle.
