City Utility employees are often working at different areas of the city and occasionally need to access the exterior portion of a residence. It is important to know that all procedures are performed outside and never inside a resident’s home.
The City of Corpus Christi reminds customers to always ask for identifying information from utility workers. City employees can provide the following:
Remember, City Utility employees work a variety of hours, both day and night. If you are unsure of work being done in your area, contact the City of Corpus Christi Customer Call Center at (361) 826-2489 (CITY). The Customer Call Center is open from 7 am to 7 pm.
If you cannot positively identify the City Utility employee, the City urges residents to call the Police Department’s non-emergency number at (361) 886-2600. If you believe it is an emergency, please call 911.
