Corpus Christi Police Detectives need your help identifying a suspect involved in a series of recent armed robberies. The suspect has been seen entering businesses displaying a black handgun and then fleeing the scene. The suspect is believed to be a female between the age of 18-23 and has a deep voice. The suspect has been seen getting into a vehicle which may be silver or gold Chrysler 300. At another robbery the suspect is seen getting into a blue 4 door vehicle.

MURDER WARRANT ISSUED FOR MURDER SUSPECT

Corpus Christi Police Department is asking for your help to locate 18-year-old Christopher Orgas who has an outstanding warrant which was issued on February 14, 2020 for Murder ($1,000,000 Bond).

Orgas is described as an 18-year-old male who stands 5′ 08″, weighs approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

This murder warrant relates to an incident which occurred on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Carolyn Drive reference a shooting with injuries. When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male victim who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital by medics where he eventually succumbed to his injury.

CRIME OF THE WEEK

Corpus Christi Police Department Investigators need your help identifying suspects believed to be involved in at least one aggravated robbery of a convenience store.

At approximately 9:26 pm on February 03,2020 Officers were dispatched to a convenience store located on the 800 block of 19th street for an Aggravated Robbery. While in the commission of the Robbery, one of the males displayed a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, while two other accomplices stood as lookouts and held the door open. The clerk complied with the demands and the suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money. The primary suspect is described as a young, Hispanic male, medium height and weight and had curly hair.

Murder Suspect Arrested

On February 11, 2020 at 4:00 PM the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force were working a case involving Maliek Gordon, who was wanted for Homicide out of Nueces Co. This is in reference to the murder that occurred in the 5200 block of Weber on December 29, 2019. The Task Force received information that Maliek Gordon was inside a residence in the area of 2700 S. Port.
The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force with the assistance of the Corpus Christi Police S.W.A.T team, CCPD Gang Unit and DPS, contacted Gordon at the front door of the residence and he was taken into custody without incident.
The warrant was confirmed and Maliek Gordon was transported to City Detention Center.
Great job by all agencies involved in getting this violent fugitive off of the streets.

OFFENDER OF THE WEEK

Nueces County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help to locate 29- year-old Angela Rodriguez who has an outstanding warrant out of Nueces County for Motion to Revoke – Abandon/Endanger Child – No Bond.

Rodriguez is described as a 29-year-old female who stands 5’04”, weighs approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Corpus Christi Police Department needs your help to locate the whereabouts of a missing child. 11-year-old Eli Nelson has been reported missing on today’s date. Eli was last seen at approximately 1:55 pm in the area of Hustlin Hornet and Ivy. Anyone that has seen Eli or knows his whereabouts, please contact 911 immediately. Neighbors in the area are asked to please check their doorbell or surveillance cameras for any sightings of Eli.

Eli is described as a 11-year-old male, who stands 5 feet, weighs approximately 70 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Eli was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a black jacket.

Critical Missing Elderly

Corpus Christi Police Officers need your help locating a missing elderly male. 67 year old Antonio Acosta was last seen February 4, 2020 at approximately 11pm. When family woke Mr. Acosta was gone. The family looked for Mr. Acosta and called the police after several hours of searching. Mr. Acosta has medical issues that require medication and he was also scheduled for a doctor visit today. Mr. Acosta is 5 feet 5 inches tall weighing 160 pounds. He recently dyed his hair and mustache black. He was last seen wearing a yellow and brown checkered shirt, a navy blue puffy jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Mr. Acosta does not have a car and is believed to have walked away from the residence. If you see, locate or have any information on Antonio Acosta’s whereabouts you are asked to call 911.
